I have been using the Route 66 by Visual Sound for about 6 months now for all of my live shows and it has been great for me. It is a combo pedal consisting of the Ibanez TS-9 circuitry with a bass boost and a compressor. It is also built in a very rugged steel housing. I have used it for both electric and acoustic shows ranging from small coffee house venues to the Alive Music Festival in Canal Fulton, OH. It is also very reasonably priced. Very Happy . It's worth trying out at your local music store. I hope you find this info useful.

PS. Oh ya. I have also seen Phil use this same pedal for both acoustic and electric shows if that says anything about it Wink

I just wanted to post and say that I did buy the Route 66 and I've had it for several months now. It takes a lot of messing around with it to get the right sort of oeverdrive setting for acoustic, so it doesn't give me feedback- (although I have seen even Phil have the same problem live), but over all I love it! Smile Electricly it is smokin'! Cool

Yeah I still have a few feedback issues with it every now and then, and it does take a little tweaking to get it set just right....but when you do....LOOK OUT BROTHER that thing will tear the paper off the walls Very Happy
