Well I didn't intend on being the first to post anything but I had to go online to look up my flight information for today's flight home so I decided to drop by.

Needless to say, it was an absolutely incredible night. Afterward, everyone was walking around in a daze with really silly grins on their faces even though everyone was tired.

I'll wait for someone to post a song list since I didn't keep one. And I also didn't take a whole lot of photos like I did last year, mainly because this time, I just wanted to sit down and watch and listen.

The concert was just short of 3 hours, counting a 15 minute intermission. Phil was on top of it tonight and looked like he was very relaxed in his playing, which was great as usual. John was just really smoking the drums (nasty habit but...) and my wife says that he looks like he is just one big muscle, because he is so thin but unbelievable! Daniel was really together and just awesome on bass, using his newer P-Bass Lite on all the songs. Dan, you've messed me up, buddy. I think I may have to get one of those!!!! But I was most impressed with Daniels hot and soulful vocals. Man, can this guy wail on songs and his version of Presence of the Lord just has to be heard. Wow!

The strings were just a small section this time but added so much as did the horn section. Phil did an acoustic set just before the intermission and was very animated the whole evening, jumping and dancing and moving all over the stage. The whole evening just cranked.

I had intended to do a review here in that I'm going to have to write one in the next couple of days anyway but I did want to give a little hint of what it was like.

My thanks to Daniel for helping out so much, coming up with the special tickets for the fans here, and for organizing the Meet and Eat. It was great to meet Robin and Dave, and Ted, and Stybba, and Ginger and Gary, and of course sweet Steph, and all the others who came up and said hi. We need to come up with a comperhensive list of those who went.

Well I'm tired and have to get up in a few hours to drive to Cleveland, and then fly all day to get to Tampa.

Blessings and peace to all,

Rob "I'm getting to old the do this too many more times" Whitehurst
