A New Year's (2000) Note From Phil to
His Fans
Hello to all my friends
I wish you all a very blessed
and peaceful New Year.
What a year it has been! --Our
eldest child now in college, and the other two
growing up fast as well! It's a lot harder to carry
Ian up to bed these days, since he's almost as tall (short)
as me! Olivia is driving now and that's all part of
growing up. Bern and I love these precious kids, and
our primary prayer is for them to know God and love
His Son. Bernadette and I will celebrate our 27th
anniversary next July, and we can't believe how the
time has flown.
My music has taken some new
turns. I'm excited about Canis Major potentially
releasing my newest music, which is a new vocal album.
My age --- and other factors are playing a part in a
desire to go "independant" with my music.
Many of you know that I want to be completely free to
create my music as I hear it without the pressures of
trying to 'compete' with the CCM and Radio
orientation of the music business. I know that now
and then a special song comes around that might prove
to be particularly meaningful to someone's ears and
heart. That's where I'm at with the direction into
the new year.
There may be some times ahead
where we may need to really place our faith in God's
guiding hand for the future and even the present.
Thank you all for your support and prayers. Let us
love in "word and deed"--"looking to
the Author of our faith". Bless you all.
Peace of Christ to you

Phil
