On Friday [Feb 4, 2000] I picked up my wife from work at Noon with the camping gear and 2 tickets to see Phil that eve. She was so excited she started crying. I scored major points! We drove 3 hours, set up camp about 10 miles from Beaumont and then drove into town to see the concert.

First thing we did was meet up with fellow listers Jason Bently and Matt Williamson. I have a great pic of us at the concert that I will post later on to the yahoo PK site. I thought my suprise for my wife was the greatest until we met up with a family that actually kidnapped their own Dad/Husband and drove him from Austin for his birthday!

The concert was held at the Calvery Baptist Church which I thought would be a huge venue of which I don't care to much for. The concert was actually held at the new teen center called the Epicenter. The venue was small and we sat up front not 10' from Phil. Here are the tunes played:

Shades of Green - stated that the Record company died! Maybe that is why we havn't seen MTPB released.
Carry Me Back - stated that this was a new song that no one around these parts had heard of. It was about going back to your first love in Christ. I told Matt that the song was Carry Me Back and Phil heard me! He asked me how I knew that! Sister Geri wrote the song.
Salvation Army Band - Best version I have ever heard!
Lovely Jesus
Castle Call - Strummed a couple of notes with his nose for a huge laugh.
Full Circle - Sandwiched pick on bottom couple of strings - strummed to set rhythem.
Love Divine
Maker of the Universe - merged into a BN solo and then back into Maker of the Universe.
Hold Me Jesus - Not too many dry eyes in the room. Phil shared quite a bit before playing the tune.
Little Star - Phil stated that Inseperable was soon to be released on Cannis Major as a double CD!
Rivuelletes - sp?
Sign Came thru a Window
Shouts of Joy - Shared a wonderful story about an old friend named Micky Robinson who was in a plane crash and survived.
Have You not Heard?
Let Everything Else Go - A request from my wife. hit into a couple of MTPB tunes, Hallelujah, a little Glass Harp and a touch of Spain.
True Believer
I Love You Lord - a request from someone in the audience. Phil had her come up and lead us all in the tune. It was really special.
Quote Jester - put in a little from David and Goliath

The whole evening was special! Phil shared a lot and I think everyone really enjoyed the eve. I can't wait for the next concert!
