Wow, WOW, WOW !!!! ,

I'm still up in the clouds, folks. I'm going to try to come back down to earth so I can Phill you in on the concert now.

There we are, Jeff Mason and I sitting with are knee's rubbing up against the sub woofer that came knee high and 5 foot across. Everything that John & Daniel did, not only could we see it, but we could feel it too. What a breeze!!! This is as close to Phil as I have ever been at any concert. When he was doing volume swells , I could hear him picking the raw string without amplification. What I'm talking about here would be like you picking up an electric guitar and playing it without plugging it into an amp. Pretty close!! I could have easily have pressed the buttons on any of his floor effects boxes. I felt like I was getting a personal concert at this point.

Jeff and I started the night at Marion's Piazza and later at the concert, during the half time break and after the concert we met up with Jane & Jim Skon. During the concert I located Bill and Jean Amey and son in the crowd, but did not meet up with them, they left too fast for me to catch up with them. Hopefully I will meet them tonight. We did meet Joe & Cathy Petelin after the concert and Jane had someone take a group shot of us. Thanks Jane.

Phil brought his Zion, Fly and Paul. He commented that it was the same Les Paul he played at the Carnegie Hall concert, this month being the anniversary month of that show. He mentioned he was really scared of playing at the CH show and prayed before the show for help. Phil also brought and used a Line 6 in place of the Jam-man, a wah-wah pedal, volume pedal, and about four other foot switches. He had an American flag pin on his beret.

There was no acoustic set at this concert, just Glass Harp all the way.

After the concert Daniel came out and was sitting at the bar, so I walked over and he signed my SA CD book. He then took it in a back room , where Phil signed it. Just after he brought it back out , here comes John, so I had him sign it. Then shortly after that Phil comes walking out. I didn't get to talk to him, but I did get to hear him talk to the other folks there. However I was the first to shake his hand right after they finished their last song, Can You See Me, since I was standing right in front of him. The stage was just high enough to bring him up to my height.

I will try my best on the songs that were played, but I do not remember the order.

The last song I remember quite well. It is the song that I requested of Daniel in the chat room.

Can You See Me - Thanks Daniel , from Getfiddle2001. This was the best I have ever heard of Phil and Glass Harp, from all the concerts that I have been to in the past 25 or so years. They did the whole song as heard on the CH cd, and Phil added a lot more while John was resting, after doing an outstanding drum solo. I have never heard John do a drum solo as good as he did in this song Sunday night, I was overly amazed. John - you're the best !!! Daniel's bass was really blending in so good.....Awe !!! Fine job Daniel. I was almost in tears of Joy over this. What a Blessing guys.

Now, a quick list of the rest of the songs ( that I can remember---Help Jeff !! ) in no order.

Green Onions - with a guest guitar player, Rich Hordinsky

Neal, and the rest of you that convinced me to go the second night, THANKS !!!

I'll go back to my cloud riding high now.......I may be close to Heaven after tonight's show.
